SKOR Foodservice is a full service food distribution company located in Vaughan, Ontario that services clients throughout Ontario and Quebec. Our clients include multi location food retailers and food service accounts including cafeterias, restaurants, banquet halls, supermarkets, concession operators, day care facilities, hospitals, correctional facilities and other government institutions. We distribute more than 8000 items including frozen, refrigerated and dry goods, and excel at servicing customers on a "one-stop-shop" basis. The company, SKOR Foodservice, is a result of the amalgamation of several food service distribution companies that have been acquired in recent years.

History

Derry Foods Limited, incorporated in 1986, was one of the first in Canada to successfully process and market a non-dairy coffee whitener for the Canadian foodservice market.

Derry Foods Limited built a strong reputation for servicing its customers, as a result, they were able to successfully develop and market new products. Derry’s new products were built on “private label house brands” such as Derry Pride, Farmers Best, Country Pride, Chico’s Fiesta, Coffee Rite and Country Fresh.

In 1988, Derry Foods began its full service food distribution business, which has evolved to where it is today. Our concept includes supplying customers with their total requirement on one delivery, on one invoice, and from one supplier.

SKOR Foodservice has positioned itself in the marketplace as a “solution provider” and offers its clients the ability to run their operations efficiently and as cost effectively as possible. We provide them with the information and structure for their product ordering system so that they do not run out of required product or have unnecessary inventory at their location.
